JAM Awards Music Special, Executive Producer. (Hugo Award Winner).    Executive produced and developed Current’s first hour-long eight-part hip-hop music special.  Secured exclusive interviews with hip hop celebrities Snoop Dog, De La Soul, Dead Prez, DMC, Rev Run, Wu-Tang Clan, Russell Simmons, and Lyor Cohen.   Current’s coverage of the awards ceremony in NYC, and associated programming about the wide reaching influences of Jam Master Jay, earned a Hugo Television Award and several Telly awards. 2008.  Below is a sampling.
